Interview with Myra McEntire author of HOURGLASS

Evening!

I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Ms. Myra McEntire, author of HOURGLASS and TIMEPIECE, coming June 12, 2012 from EgmontUSA. I'm incredibly excited for the second book in the Hourglass series, I mean look at the cover! Eep!

The Quickest Interview in the West:

Rhi: What was the main inspiration behind Hourglass?

Myra: I love wibbly wobbly timey-wimey things. (Doctor Who reference. :D)

Rhi: Can we get a sneak peek at the second book in the Hourglass series?

Myra: You can if you buy the paper back of HOURGLASS! The first chapter of TIMEPIECE is in the back.

Rhi: What was this short story about? I heard something about it sucking the life out of you? (short stories are not allowed to be that mean)

Myra: The subject is a secret. However, never, ever let anyone tell you that short stories are easy. Because that is a LIE.

Rhi: Are you making any appearances this summer?

Myra: I have a signing coming up with Amy Plum in May here in Nashville, and several things I can't announce yet!

Rhi: Which books are you most looking forward to this summer?

Myra: So, so many! So many big books are coming out, then end of the Lauren Kate Fallen series, Bitterblue, Insurgent!

Rhi: If you could time travel, where would you go and why?

Myra: 1816 Switzerland, with Lord Byron, Percy Shelley and Mary Shelley at the Villa Diodati. Look it up. It's totally scandalous!

(I looked it up, totally scandalous like she said. I could see that being some very interesting times to live in if you didn't get executed or mauled.)

Thanks Myra for stopping by my blog and I hope everyone is looking forward to Timepiece! You can preorder it on Amazon now!

PREORDER TIMEPIECE
ORDER HOURGLASS (if you still haven't read it)

  1. Wibbly Wobbly Timey Wimey, Love it! Thanks to you ladies for the fun interview and okay, I am getting Hourglass!! I can only imagine how hard it is to write short stories. I find it difficult to do reviews for them, but they are my favorite books to review! Better get reading so I will be ready for Timepiece:)
